We are partnered with the beautiful Namring Tea Estate located in the Darjeeling Hills. Founded in 1860, it is one of Darjeeling’s oldest and largest tea estates. There, Camellia Sinensis plants thrive at altitudes up to 5,500 feet above sea level. Like many of the higher altitude Darjeeling Gardens, Namring receives cool winds from the Himalayas and refreshing rains from the Bay of Bengal. This along with the mineral rich soil results in a combination of agro-climatic conditions that yield the world’s finest and sought-after teas. The owners and pickers who serve as stewards to this marvelous piece of land put great care into sustainability and quality tea production.
